Something I learned very early on in my career as a children’s entertainer, is that my job is not about doing magic tricks – it is about creating wonderful memories!
I recently had the privilege of entertaining Evie and 40 friends at a party in Sidcup for her 6th birthday. It was certainly a high-energy afternoon with so many active children to keep engaged. I had the added need to consider Evie’s circumstances, as she uses a wheelchair and support frame to enable her to get about. I’ve always worked hard to include children of all abilities in my children’s magic show and work my stagecraft around ways of incorporating wheelchairs, frames and sometimes a supportive parent. As you can see from the picture and read in the kind words from Elaine , Evie had a great time and now has some wonderful memories to enjoy!
