What A Great Party!
Just want to say what a great party you did for our girls today, they thoroughly enjoyed your show and have talked about the tricks all evening. There are two common questions I get asked by parents enquiring about children’s entertainment…
1) Can you engage children for the whole 2 hours of a party? Surely they’ll get bored!
2) Are you able to perform your magic show in a church hall, village hall or community centre?
To both, I answer yes!
The secret to keeping children engaged when entertaining them is to work to a structure, vary the pace and treat every child as if the show was just about them. And I guess my energy and enthusiasm helps!
As far as venues are concerned, I am happy to perform magic more or less anywhere. More commonly halls and centres are insisting that entertainers have insurance… Luckily I come with a whole £10,000,000 pounds worth of cover!

A Stress-Free Party

I like to make parties as easy as possible for busy parents. When they book my Perfect Party Package they have very little to do – just organise a venue, decorate it and get some food ready.
I provide all the rest of the structure and managing of the children’s party. Everything from greeting them as they arrive, getting them all sat down for the magic show, making balloons and leading the games is all taken care of.
My aim is to leave everyone buzzing and wanting a little more Marli Magic – I guess you can see from Tanya’s message that’s exactly what happened!

Magic is great for birthday parties…but it has other uses too – for example helping promote a product or service. One example is an open event I performed at recently for Maidstone Kumon. They invited their own students and other children from Maidstone to try out their excellent teaching and study programme and have a bit of fun with some Marli Magic!
I performed a couple of magic shows and made some balloons for the children to help enhance the impact of the day. And as you can see it was a great success!
OH – and yes I do show off a bit making balloons models without looking and even behind my back!
